Selfishly, I hope they keep Carbo going and my friends there stay employed. Sucks for the folks at Glen Lyn. Definitely need prayers for those families.

This region has always been coal. It's hard to just drop it and switch gears after however many generations.

Carbo is being turned into a natural gas facility, so it shouldn't affect too many jobs.

The White House. The tree huggers that Obama has put in charge of the EPA. All they want to do is destroy coal country. If they stop the burning of coal they this country will go to hell. No wait it's all ready there so it will get much worse.

The EPA isn't a cabinet department, it's Admnistrator is the only position the President picks and has to be approved by congress after that. Nice one though. What you're seeing is the EPA actually doing what it is supposed to do, protect the environment and keep our air/water safe, contrary to the asinine belief that they are out to attack coal or anyone, that's bullshit. So sorry the last admin. protected big business that were able to pollute, pollute, pollute without reprecussions. But with that lame rant, no use explaining any of that to you, go back to watching Beck now.
